Adam Casner was born and raised in Rockville, MD. He obtained his B.A. in Italian with an Economics minor from the University of Texas at Austin in 2005 and his law degree from the University of Kansas School of Law in 2010.
During law school, Adam was an active member of the Public Interest Law Society, and has exhibited a lifelong commitment to his local and national community through various volunteer services and fundraising. Following law school Adam practiced Employment Law as a Litigation Fellow, concentrating on discrimination in the workplace. Prior to founding Casner and Cabello Havrda, PLLC, Adam spent many years representing claimants before the Social Security Administration in applications and appeals for disability benefits.
Adam is a member of the American Bar Association, the Texas State Bar, the Austin Bar Association, the San Antonio chapter of National Employment Lawyers Association, the National Organization of Social Security Claimants’ Representatives and the San Antonio Social Security Claimants’ Representatives. Adam is admitted to practice in the State of Texas, The United States District Court Western District of Texas, and The United States Court of Appeals for the Federal Circuit.
Adam is married to Erin and they have 2 beautiful daughters together.

Melissa Cabello Havrda
Melissa Cabello Havrda received a B.A. in political science from St. Mary’s University in 2001, her law degree from St. Mary’s University School of Law in 2007, and an MBA from UTSA in 2013.
Between degrees, Melissa served her native San Antonio by working as an assistant to then-Mayor of San Antonio Ed Garza. She went on to serve as an assistant to Mayor Emeritus Lila Cockrell and former Councilwoman Bonnie Conner with the non-profit San Antonio Parks Foundation. To continue her dedication to her community, Melissa joined a prominent firm in 2008 representing clients in Social Security Disability claims.
Melissa is also a proud graduate of the inaugural Latina Leadership Institute through the San Antonio Hispanic Chamber of Commerce and serves on the SAHCC’s Government Affairs and Business and Economic Development committees. Melissa is currently part of Leadership San Antonio 41 through the SAHCC and the San Antonio Chamber of Commerce. Melissa also serves as Vice President of the Magik Children’s Theater Board.
Melissa is a member of the San Antonio Bar Association, Mexican American Bar Association of San Antonio and National Organization of Social Security Claimants’ Representatives.
Melissa is married to Jason and they have 3 young children.
